LC100P WATER FILTER - HOW IT WORKS - 4-STAGE REVERSE OSMOSIS

  1. Stage 1 & 2 DUAL FUNCTION PRE-FILTER: Reduces suspended and particulate matter from incoming tap water down to 1 micron. Also reduces chlorine/chloramines taste and odor before passing through the RO membrane.
  2. REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE: Semi-permeable membrane targets and reduces 13 contaminants, including fluoride, nitrates, nitrites, lead, radium and arsenic. Also reduces remaining suspended solids and dissolved solids from the water molecules. Then, these separated impurities are washed down the drain.
  3. CARBON BLOCK: One final filtration pass to reduce any additional objectionable tastes and odors.

WATERMAX® SIGNATURE SERIES - FAQ

What does “Reverse Osmosis” mean?

Reverse Osmosis (RO) operates by removing contaminants from water at the molecular level. By using pressure to squeeze your water against a special membrane, water molecules are separated from impurities. Rejected dissolved solids are automatically rinsed down the drain leaving only high-quality water for you to use.

What can it remove from my water?

The LC100P reduces contaminants down to 1 micron while improving the overall taste of your water by filtering out bad tastes and odors.

How many gallons can it filter per day?

The LC100P can filter up to 100 gallons per day and it is the perfect solution to provide the highest quality water to your entire home or supply the best water to restaurants and offices.

LC100P WATER FILTER - PROCESS EXPLAINED - 4-STAGE REVERSE OSMOSIS

Stage 1 & 2

TWIN-ACTION PRE-FILTER

Diminishes suspended particles and matter from the incoming water source to a size as small as 1 micron. It also tackles the taste and odor caused by chlorine/chloramines before the water progresses to the RO membrane.

Stage 3

REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE

This selective barrier focuses on and minimizes 13 specific contaminants, such as fluoride, nitrates, nitrites, lead, radium, and arsenic. It further filters out the remaining suspended and dissolved particles from the water. Subsequently, these isolated impurities are expelled.

Stage 4

ACTIVATED CARBON BLOCK

A concluding filtration step to further refine the water by removing any lingering undesirable tastes and smells.
