H6000 WATER FILTER - HOW IT WORKS - 5 STAGE REVERSE OSMOSIS

  1. SEDIMENT PRE-FILTER: Reduces suspended and particulate matter down to 5 microns from the incoming tap water.
  2. CARBON BLOCK: Reduces chlorine/chloramines taste and odor before passing through the RO membrane.
  3. REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE: Semi-permeable membrane targets and reduces 13 contaminants, including fluoride, nitrates, nitrites, lead, radium and arsenic. Also reduces remaining suspended solids and dissolved solids from the water molecules. Then, these separated impurities are washed down the drain.
  4. PROLONGED CONTACT FILTER: A filter specifically designed to further reduce aesthetic chlorine from your water.
  5. GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) BLOCK: One final filtration pass to reduce any additional objectionable tastes and odors.

WATERMAX® SIGNATURE SERIES - FAQ

What does “Reverse Osmosis” mean?

Reverse Osmosis (RO) operates by removing contaminants from water at the molecular level. By using pressure to squeeze your water against a special membrane, water molecules are separated from impurities. Rejected dissolved solids are automatically rinsed down the drain leaving only high-quality water for you to use.

How many gallons can it filter per day?

The H6000 is able to filter 19 gallons per day. A large 4 gallon storage tank holds the filtered water so you have a reserve of freshly filtered water ready when you need it.
