WATERMAX® SIGNATURE SERIES - CUSTOMIZATION

The unique three-compartment design allows the WaterMax Signature Series to be customized to take care of your unique water problem.

The benefit of the three-compartment design is that it allows you to have a whole-house water treatment solution in one system. Most standard units either soften or filter the water, but not both. This means that you would need to install multiple units to take care of your water problem. The WaterMax Signature Series can be tailored to take care of multiple problematic water contaminates such as chlorine, lead, calcium, and magnesium

TAILORED FOR YOUR SPECIFIC WATER PROBLEMS

Each unit already includes Bacteriastat at the bottom of the tank to help prevent any bacteria growth inside the system. This helps to keep your WaterMax worry-free and clean.

The three compartment designs allow for the use of additional custom media options to address specific treatment needs.

WATERMAX® SIGNATURE SERIES - FAQ

How do I know if I need a water softener?

Can provide an in-home water test and consultation at your convenience to determine your water hardness. After that, they can recommend the best solution for you. Contact a dealer to get your water tested today!

What does the salt monitor do?

One unique feature that comes standard on the WaterMax Signature Series is the salt monitor. The salt monitor will send audible and visual alerts to let you know when your salt level is low and more salt needs to be added. The salt monitor will also let you know if a salt bridge has formed in the brine tank, making this a worry-free solution.

How long is the WaterMax Signature series Series covered under warranty?

We have confidence in our products, which is why the WaterMax Signature Series is backed by a 25-year warranty.

What makes the WaterMax Signature Series so unique?

Unlike many standard single compartment water treatment systems on the market, the WaterMax Signature Series has a three-compartment design that can be tailored to fit your specific water needs. Once your water test is complete, your authorized dealer can recommend the best media configuration to make sure you are receiving nothing but great quality water.

Why is fine mesh resin superior to standard resin?

The WaterMax Signature Series uses fine mesh resin which has an average bead size that is 23% smaller than standard mesh resin. With smaller beads, the ion exchange process happens more quickly. This means less salt, water, and time is needed compared to standard mesh resin for the same capacity.

We also use a packed media bed which allows the WaterMax Signature Series to be more compact than conventional units without sacrificing any water softening power.

WATERMAX® SIGNATURE SERIES - USE & CARE

Your WaterMax Signature Series water softener and filter was created to provide you and your family with the quality water you deserve. To achieve the full benefits of your system, here are a few basic care items to make sure your water treatment system performs at peak efficiently.

  1. Always make sure your system has enough salt. The salt level in the brine tank should always be at least 1/3 full. Your salt monitor will alert you when more salt is needed, but it is good practice to make sure you are providing enough salt without having to rely on the salt monitor. Clean white pellet, cube-style, or solar salt is recommended - do not use rock salt.
  2. Make sure to adjust the clock during Daylight Savings. See Customer Settings.
  3. It is a good idea to protect your WaterMax Signature Series from freezing, including the drain line during cold months.
  4. If sediment is present in the brine tank, it may be a good idea to clean and inspect the brine tank and aircheck/draw tube assembly. This can be done on an annual basis.
